pleased to see your arrival into Salcombe is earlier (or you hope it is!!) We will be able to travel to Salcombe on evening of Wednesday 6th after Milly competes in team Junior One Day for Cottesmore that day and will leave on Saturday. Will try and help with moorings and boat park nightmare where I can - let me know !!
Milly has had best Pony Club camp ever - very happy girl!

I logged on to the site to see my old Uni buddy intrepidly sailing around the UK only to read he's back at his old stomping ground taking a holiday - Fin you must be getting old!?!! Seriously though, congratulations on your voyage so far, the pictures look great. I will keep an eye out for you in the Solent.

To Stuart and Fin and allyour support group;- I so want you to make a success of this effort and having seen how much has been pledged so far I decided to send off some begging letters on your behalf (hope you don't mind ). Sadly the bad weather that you have had has caught up with us and we cannot sail today and tomorrow is looking iffey.

I woke up at 6am with a start - it had been raining on my head for a while and both me and the pillow were soaked

So another couple of dull days stuck in a leaking tent in the rain

Hi Ian thanks for the email! All has been going well till today and the low pressure system that you have had recently has just caught up with us - high winds and torrential rain, i think that we may be here for a couple of days.
The offer of a sail still stands. Likely to be in Norfolk in a couple of weeks!

We are meant to be coming to visit you in Scotland next week,but you are going too fast so it looks as though we will be visiting you somewhere near sunny Newcastle instead!!! I think you are doing a great job.

However, defying the laws of mechanics and thinking that just because the wind is in the (adverse) direction, the possibility of not sailing up Loch Ness is a surprise!

I challenge you to sail up the Bag with a big spring tide outgoing with a north easterly....we do it all the time...

Have you not discovered it goes just as fast upwind as down??

The challenge is big one and I look forward to seeing you in the KA in August

Hi, nerdy moment here, clothes inside sleeping bag is bad idea because they will keep you cold - sleeping bags work best when you wear as little as possible! Duvet on top is good idea though!!
